Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Couplewink account at any time from within the app. Here is how it works and what it means for your data.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Couplewink app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete My Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your email address and account credentials
  • All wink history
  • All match data
  • Customized match suggestions
  • Custom button labels
  • Push notification tokens

What happens to your partner

Your partner receives a notification that your account has been deleted. Their own account is unaffected but will be unlinked from yours. They will no longer be part of a pair and can choose to pair with a new partner or continue using the app independently.

Data retention

All data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. There is no retention period. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
