Who we are

Couplewink is operated by Openroad Apps LLC, located at 5441 S Macadam Ave, Ste R, Portland, OR 97239. You can reach us at openroadappsllc@gmail.com.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Couplewink, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be 17 years of age or older to use Couplewink. The app is rated 17+ and is intended for use by adults in romantic relationships. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions and billing

Couplewink offers a free tier and a paid tier called Couplewink Plus. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. One subscription covers both partners in a pair.

Couplewink Plus is normally priced at $8.99 per month or $79.99 per year. During a temporary early adopter period, Couplewink Plus is available at $3.99 per month or $34.99 per year. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are governed by the refund policies of Apple and Google, respectively. Openroad Apps LLC does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of those platforms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Couplewink for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use the service in any way that could harm Openroad Apps LLC, its infrastructure, or other users.
• Create custom button labels containing hate speech, slurs, threats, or other prohibited content as defined by our content moderation policies.

User-generated content

Couplewink allows you to create custom wink button labels. You are solely responsible for the content you create. Custom labels are visible only to you and your paired partner.

We maintain a content moderation blocklist and reserve the right to reject or remove labels that contain prohibited content, including but not limited to hate speech, slurs, threats, or content that promotes illegal activity. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, and code within Couplewink is owned by Openroad Apps LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app or website without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Couplewink is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Openroad Apps LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app's availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Openroad Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Couplewink app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used in a manner harmful to other users or to our service.

You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the app via the settings screen. Deleting your account removes all of your personal data, including wink history, match data, custom button labels, and push notification tokens. Your paired partner will be notified that the account has been deleted. You may also request deletion by emailing openroadappsllc@gmail.com.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
